Generations House

It was hinted in the brief and it came up a couple of times in conversations with our tutors, Pauline, the CEO of the Land Council, and guest critics on presentation day: what makes the work of Housing for Health so significant is the immediate service following the survey of Indigenous homes. Visiting Guyra felt a bit like surveying without service - in fact, we received more than we gave.

My wish is that this design book could act as a voice for the community in Guyra and those working tirelessly to encourage healthy living practices through architecture. I hope that in the near future this community and others may benefit and grow from what we received in this studio.
